Sitara Indian Cuisine

Was our first time eating at Sitara in Point Edward as we were driving through from Michigan and we’re so glad we did! Both the food and the service were wonderful. The staff there is so friendly and they took the time to make sure our experience and meals were meeting our expectations. My husband and I started off with the onion bhajia and fish pakora. Both appetizers were really good and the fish pakora was so fresh and had just the right amount of curry spice. Needless to say we gobbled them up quickly. It's great that the restaurant offers a North American breakfast in addition to East Indian-style cuisine so that diners with different tastes have something to enjoy when dining together. What I love the most about the menu though is how much variety it offers vegans, including vegan children. The staff is very friendly and accomodating not only in terms of special dietary requirements, but also in terms of the patience and warmth needed to serve families with young children.

Five of us went for supper at this spot last weekend and found the food simply fabulous. The wait staff were super friendly, and the owner even came to our table and chatted for a while. We enjoyed every minute. The only reason I'm withholding another star in my rating is because the outside of this restaurant has zero curb appeal. It is plunked in the middle of a huge piece of asphalt with not a tree or flower anywhere in sight. That aside, I'd certainly come back!

Ordered 2 cury dishes and 3 orders of naan for my wife and I, portion small for the whopping 22 dollars EACH DISH on skipthedishes... sad sad sad. Naan burnt, chicken tough.

Stopped by for a meal on the way to US. Best Indian food I've had and exemplary service with kindness. I'd drive to sarnia more often for a meal here.
