I have been to this hostelry twice now, once with my partner and her father and one just him and myself. It really is a very nice establishment. Spotlessly clean, tastefully laid out and very welcoming. We had lunch on both occasions which was really very nice, a comprehensive menu and quite a good selection of specials. There is a very nice patio area at the rear with nicely spaced seating and lovely views across the valley. There is ample parking on site. The staff, on both occasions were welcoming and friendly. We will certainly be returning. Thank you

Lovely friendly village pub with good food selection. Excellent draught beer. Try the Boltmaker! Vegetarian options: Interesting and a bit different. We had walked up from the canal, confusion over opening times as indicated on the website and again in reality. Sign posted from the village maybe a board with the opening hours might encourage more people. We did not eat however it was very popular for food. Traditional old village pub well populated by the locals.

The restaurant has great beer, including Timothy Taylor's Golden Best, and the hosts and customers are friendly and welcoming. The food also looked delicious. Service and atmosphere both rated at 4 stars.
