As it was a birthday gathering, there was 20 adults. The booking process was fantastic as I didn't have to leave a deposit, but I wasn't told that they don't split the bill, but when we were there, i was talking to Michela from the bar, she was so so helpful and let everyone pay for themselves but do it slowly through the night. She couldn't do any better if she tried. Thank you Michela.I ordered Rissoto with peas and pumpkin, I special ordered as I don't like crunchy rice, so I asked for overcooked rice and extra creamy. We have visited countless times, for most part we eat the pizza because the other dishes lack flavor and quality - even with the salad I ate last week they used the terrible yellow leaves from the centre of the iceberg lettuce which were bitter, none of the greener leaves at all and then drowned it in oil and not much salad for the hefty prices. Their service is so inconsistent that on every occasion we are left waiting to the point that we have to leave the table to go get someone. Then you order a 'works'/the lot pizza and say you dont want the large shrimp or olives but could they put a liitle more pineapple on and you get told they will charge extra, I repeat that I am removing 2 expensi...
While eating at slices in Caroline Springs for our Grandmothers birthday, inappropriate sexual explicit scenes came out on the television screens. Mothers had to cover their children's eyes, it kept playing until management received complaints. I spoke directly to the manger and owner who said " he has no control" he just plays that particular channel and he is to busy to see what it always on the screen. As an owner of the restaurant he has control over what is viewed on his premises and due to his unprofessional handling of the situation. I will be returning to this restaurant.I put out a strong warning to all families to think twice before choosing slices and to go else where. Definitely...
Went here with family for lunch. It's in a great spot - overlooking the lake. Plenty of parking. It's a fairly large restaurant - full of families - and noisy. MTV on the tv screen - you get the idea! The food was pretty average and nothing to write home about. Pizza was disappointing - had the cheap and nasty shredded ham etc. Pastas were okay but nothing special. Calamari and chips - pretty average. Staff were busy, not overly friendly. We enjoyed a pleasant evening meal here with a few drinks. Quite a sizeable venue with a few seating options. My companions all seemed to enjoy their meals - steak, fish, salad etc. with a reasonable selection of beer on tap and wines we were well catered for. Service was friendly. Can recommend
View, Food & Coffee great, however we had a business meeting there and found it rather noisy, hence well had a little trouble hearing each other.It was quite a busy day & there were lots of conversations going on.We are meeting here again soon, I will request a quiet table if possible.
