Gotta recommend this place. Two types of experience in one place: classic bar with high top tables and black upholstered bar chairs in one room, next room is small town diner that serves beer and alcohol in comfy booths and large enough tables for lively conversations. Also has a patio out back for warm weather. Excellent sandwiches, real potato French fries, delicious onion rings. Staff knows how to handle customers with grace but a firm hand if needed: . Go. This place delivers EXACTLY what it's name proclaims, Neighborhood Bar and Grill. We ordered pizza and it was awesome. The next night we went back. My 101 year old friend had chili and (awesome) onion rings and I had the 8oz mushroom, bacon swiss burger...grilled to order a perfect medium rare. It doesn't hurt that the owner came and greated us personally and that ALL the servers (and the owner) are beautiful (sorry...it's true) and friendly!!
I have only ever ordered takeout from this restaurant, but they serve delicious food. My favorite is the mushroom Swiss burger with a deluxe side of fries. My son loves the pizza burger. The onion rings and fried pickles are also delicious. The only downside is that the food takes a while to prepare, so it is best to order early and hope that it is ready when you arrive.
The service at this restaurant was lacking, with slow and inattentive staff. The food was excellent, but unfortunately, not all of our dishes arrived at the same time, with one dinner coming 10 minutes later than the rest. Additionally, the bartender was also acting as a waiter when the bar was busy, which was not ideal.

I had the fried fish and steak fries. The batter on the fish was excellent and crispy like the fries.
