Slippery's Tavern And

I took my mom and aunts to Slippery 's when they were in town visiting, as they 're all Grumpy Old Men fans..... we had a BLAST in the gift shop, and kudos to the gal that was working that day! She totally indulged us as we took turns posing for pictures in the fish house. (Unfortunately, I can 't remember her name, but she was so much fun! After making our purchases, we enjoyed Bloddy Mary 's and walleye sandwiches.... YUM!

Food and service were good. My burger was cooked more than I usually prefer, but preferences were not asked, so it did not cross my mind to demand it too. Some places do not cook with burgers. It was still good, but it wasn't the end of the world on this one. Definitely a great view of the river! Nice outdoor seating area. Drinks were made good. One case was the gift shop prizes. They're pretty expensive for what they have.

Great food, great landscape, great service. Our waitress summer was great! It is right on the Mississippi with a dock for fishing like the Grumpy Old Men did (that is where the movie takes place). Beautiful small gift shop and live music in the main role in May!

Nice little spot on the river. Shaded outdoor area for lunch and a whole patio for drinks and music.

The waitress was super nice! View was great! Pool table and flipper on the back were entertaining!
