Very disappointing. I love BBQ. I’ve had awesome BBQ all over from St Louis, to Texas, to NYC, to South Carolina. When my wife told me on Friday about this new BBQ place down the street from us, we were there on Saturday. Prices actually weren’t bad and on par with what you would expect for ‘good’ BBQ. When I was there, the QC person caught a 2 mistakes in my order. I didn’t care. I’m glad they caught it before I left. At the same time, there was someone complaining about the onion rings. I hate to give a bad review, but this is probably the worse take out food I have ever ordered. I threw over $50 worth food away, and I top of that they forgot some of the order so I had to make two trips. The burger was over cooked and burnt on one side and still pink on the other. I was scared of food poisoning. The pulled chicken was good, even though there was several bones in it. The rice was burnt with some funky brown pieces. The ribs were okay. The brisket( more like pot roast) was rubbery and bland. The onion rings were barely breaded soggy and laid in a puddle of oil. I was hoping this place would be good, but unfortunately that is not the case.
Fantastic local BBQ! We ordered a large family platter along with a few other items. The wings and ribs were outstanding (definitely 5 stars for the ribs alone)! The mac and cheese and potato salad were clearly homemade and delicious. The coleslaw was solid, the pulled pork was good, and the hotdogs were impressive. The dough on the onion rings was tasty. Although the brisket was delayed and the burgers took a bit longer, it was not a major issue. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend it; it's much better than other BBQ spots in the area and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be ordering again!
However, there were a couple of hiccups. Since they just opened, it seems they’re still getting the hang of things. The first time we tried to order dinner, the person on the phone informed us that there was a 90-minute wait, which was a bit discouraging. The next day, we decided to stop by for lunch, only to find out that the brisket—once a signature dish for a BBQ place—isn't available until 4 PM. That could be a potential issue.
Despite these setbacks, I definitely plan to return and hope they can work out the kinks as they settle in.

I love the fact that there is a BBQ place within my area. Small fries delivers well cooked foods at reasonable prices. My issue is the food is kind of flavor less. I ordered the 1/2 rib and 1/4 chicken combo. There is absolutely zero flavor other than a very weak sauce they put on it. The beans and cole slaw were mediocre at best. Food is cooked well- flavor is not a priority here.
Wings, burgers, ribs, and more—this place truly knows how to satisfy its customers, especially during the pandemic. The delivery service is quick, and the staff and chefs are consistently friendly and respectful. They've certainly earned my vote. Their milkshakes are delicious, too! Thank you for being a valuable part of our community.
I have visited half a dozen times small fries bbq since their opening in februar 2020 and has never been disappointed! the portions are huge and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the ribs, the brisket and the wobble rings (the best I ever had). kudos to small fries, keep them the great work!
Ordered for first time today! Cheeseburger was very good as well as the onion rings! The corn on the cob was delicious. Order was prepared and ready at the time I had requested on-line. Will definitely be ordering from them again!
