The staff here are so welcoming and friendly. Let’s start with that. It’s great to see familiar faces every visit. Smile Tiger roasts their own beans, which have a dark and rich flavor! My husband and I love buying their beams for home lattes as well. They always deliver great espresso! The atmosphere is trendy and relaxing. The space features long table, lounge section, and many small tables. Lots of seating to go around! It’s right beside the Go-Station, so it’s a great spot to go before or after catching the train. We went for a breakfast coffee while visiting Kitchener today. We ordered a regular large coffee and a flat white. My coffee was served in a heavy porcelain mug that was at best a medium size and drained all the heat from the coffee. The flat white that was supposed to be in a mug came in a paper cup and was warmer but not hot. Two scones were very good. A shame that a place that should specialize in coffee doesn't know how to deliver.

Trendy, bright location. I have been by here during my travels, and was interested in trying it. Was not busy, but the server was not interested in taking my order. She barely acknowledged my presence, and was rather surly when taking and serving my coffee. The seating was taken up by employees on their break. The coffee was good, but I will not return here. Overall very disappointed!

I really liked the little snacks there, there is a lot to choose from. We did not really interact with the workers there, not much talking. I really liked it because it was very calming and me and my friend had a little chat, with no interruptions, like clinking of plats, or people talking loudly, none of that! Like the snacks... and good for quick stops!

I arrived at Smile Tiger at 7:40 last night. The hours posted on the website indicated that it was to be open until 8 PM, and the doors were wide open. However, I was told by the staff that they were already closed. By all means set your own hours, but adhere to the hours you have posted on your website.

Premium prices. They have attempted to overcharge my credit card for an additional 20%. At the time of this post it has not been corrected yet. I will accept the inflated charge and never go back or see a resolution and do future business. Simple in my mind.

This is in the top two of my go to coffee spots in KW. The other is owned by the same group, DVLB. Service is great, attention to detail. Location by the train station is quite good and the coffee is excellent. I will return...frequently.

Very disappointing experience at Smile Tiger. Staff aren't very friendly and my London Fog tasted manufactured. Wasn't even made with an actual Earl Grey tea bag. And it was not hot. Not worth the money that's for sure.

What a great way to start the day. Catching the train or on your way to work? Stop here and get some real java bean. Surprisingly high class.

Love this place, delicious coffee and great service and I love the location!! Perfect spot to grab a specialty brew.
