The farmers sausage dish stood out as a prime example; it consisted of a single sausage cut into four pieces, giving the impression of a hearty meal without delivering on that promise. Great location with plenty of metered parking available nearby. There are several amenities in close proximity. The restaurant is spacious and has a friendly atmosphere, making it a relaxing and comfortable place to dine. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes at reasonable prices. I've enjoyed the food immensely, especially the Jigs dinner on Sundays (my personal favorite), as well as the hot roast beef sandwich, burgers and fries, onion rings, and pan-fried cod, among others. I highly recommend this establishment! Parking is easily accessible with ample metered spaces.
The food here is consistently delicious, though the service could use some improvement. I recently enjoyed the Ultimate Mozza Burger, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while! You really can't go wrong with their breakfast options, and I highly recommend trying a single chocolate chip pancake as well.

My friend and I dined at Smitty's in Churchill square on Sunday, August 13/23.Food was good but not the live critter on the floor near my feet, A MOUSE.Never again will I enter that restaurant.
Always a good experience with smittys as you know what you are getting and there is consistency in the quality. Went for the up and at em' special which is always a good choice.
Three of us went for supper .. ordered a fish and chips .. it was delicious.. and two cod tongue platters .. they were good as well. Service was very good and friendly.

Smitty's is one of my favorite places for breakfast when I'm in St. John's. My granddaughter really enjoys the cinnamon pancakes with extra whipped cream.
Smitty's has a wide range of foods at reasonable prices. It's a place for family and friends. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
