Smitty's Family Restaurant

When entering the establishment you have no push buttons & 2 doors entering into the same foyer before lining up for the last door. The decor is novel and there is sound deadener on the ceiling to offset the tile floors. There are 2 levels of seating with the first level being the only accessible one. The washrooms are once again hard for a wheeler to negotiate but located near the main door. The food is good as it is chain managed food that is shuffled on and off the menus. Parking is excellent in the plaza across from the Lindsay Square and just for this it shines over the Peterborough Smittys plus the lack of extreme noise.

breakfast special...We happened upon Smitty's this am.. purely by accident...almost went to A&W and my husband noticed Smitty's ... we were up extra early for a drive to our favourite bakery....we were pleased to see on a Sunday morning they were open at 7am... we both had the breakfast special..$5.99 ( 7-10am)which included a carafe of coffee and a huge pot of tea!!! We both enjoyed our selections.. but the pancakes had absolutely no flavour... next time would opt for the toast instead!!We will definitely eat there again!! A very pleasant way to start our day!

You won't find a better deal on breakfast in town. Two of us for the breakfast special. Two eggs any way you want them, choice of bacon, ham or sausage, choice of two types of potato, and four kinds of toast, plus they drop off a carafe of better than average coffee. Fast friendly service and the bill came to $13.54 total. Really ?Real food at fast food prices, or better. Sure beats a McHockeypuck and a greasy home fry patty thing.

We went to Smitty's on a busy day for breakfast (around lunch time). The food we recieved was a very good value considering the large portions. As well, the eggs benedict I had was by far the best Ive ever eaten! My partner's meal was very good as well. It was all hot when it came out and to order - our server was attentive and we enjoyed that the coffee carafe was left at the table. We both enjoyed our experience. Reserva una mesa ahora

We went here for a late morning breakfast. The food was good and price was reasonable, but although the place was fairly empty (only 2 other tables occupied in our section and 3 or 4 in the other) our waitress was difficult to find. After she cleared the table we waited nearly 10 minutes to get our bill and when I questioned the delay it was just shrugged off as being "busy" with no apology.

There are a lot of good breakfast restaurants out there. We like Smitty's because the staff is friendly, the food is good, and there are lots of tables. But the best thing is that the breakfast special has an option to get (really good) pancakes instead of toast and potatoes. We will continue to eat at Smitty's.

Lindsay breakfast is redeemed at Smitty's. What A lovely experience after the Grand! No problem customizing my order, fresh hot coffee and a delightful friendly waitress! The food was fresh, hot, creative and delicious! I would be happy to try this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Had all day breakfast here with friends. The food was well presented and good quality and there was a lot of choice. A little pricey compared to similar places like this but certainly worth a visit if your are in Lyndsey and need something like this. Reserva una mesa ahora

Stopped by for brunch with family at the end of our trip. Food was delicious, service was quick and friendly, and they accommodated our late-arriving family without breaking a sweat, even on a busy morning.

The food is delicious, it was served hot. The servers were friendly and courteous. There are large portions . They nice thing was they left a carafe of coffee at the table. Wonderful experience!
