Smokehouse Bbq In L

I was excited to find this BBQ restaurant open on a Monday and got the sliced brisket sandwich to go along with an order or fries. The price was fair. The meat was fairly dry and flavorless. There is no sign of any smoking of meats going on anywhere, and certainly not in the meat. It was like it had been cooked in an oven, uncovered. It could have been salvaged somewhat with sauce, which they are proud enough to bottle and sell. Unfortunately, there was little on the sandwich and none included or offered. The chopped beef sandwich was tasty, but not the sort of BBQ I’m used to. It was more like a crockpot simmered sort of smoky beef mix, very lean and no bark. I’d have it again — it was delicious— even though it was not what I was expecting. Now their onion rings… wow! Best I’ve ever had! Their service… at the Sonic-style drive-up was s l o w. 20 minutes from order to car seemed rather long, especially without a touch-base or check-in to let me know they had to grow the onions first for those rings of gold. Maybe I just showed up on a bad day. I’d give them another shot sometime.

I LOVE this place. Growing up, for special occasions, we would drive the 1.5 hours for this delicious BBQ. Now I live in Florida and will make a point to stop and get a few pounds of their homemade sausage. Into a cooler and freezer it will go, just so I can take it back to Florida with me.

The portions for the price are amazing. The flavor was awesome for everything we tried and the service was fast and friendly. We were just stopping off for dinner while traveling, but we will make a trip back just to come eat here. Reserva una mesa ahora

Been stopping in here for years. Food is just as it was 15 years ago. The staff has always been very nice and friendly. The brisket and sausage are on another level.

You have not eaten Texas BBQ if you have not eaten here! I have been going here since I was a child. I love their chopped beef sandwich and french fries!
