This was the first time at Smokey’s Tavern with the new owners. The hamburger was to die for and the roasted Brussels sprouts came with it. I also got their salad to take home and it had apple cider vinaigrette on it. We also got pizza which is a flat bread pizza. Everything was delicious I recommend you go there with the kids to enjoy a fun atmosphere. The brick oven cook came over and asked how everything was and I gave him a thumbs up.
We visited the restaurant on Christmas Eve. It was quite crowded, but the seating was spaced out, which made for a comfortable experience. Overall, it was a lovely evening. We really enjoyed the food and Doug's service was excellent. The pizza was probably our least favorite dish, but the wings were large and tasty. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
Friendly and simple place in North Jersey. Eclectic menu, pub/tavern type of fare. Nothing to write home about but if you’re hungry you can get your belly filled and have a cocktail here. I sure wish they used A LOT less plastic, it’s really unnecessary in this day and age. Terrific staff.
Despite not having my confirmed reservation through open table, the food was good. Wings were awesome. Service was ok but my wife asked for silverware and the girl brought one set! Our waitress seemed distracted and disconnected. We will go back though. Reserva una mesa ahora
The place is quite roomy, they have very good wings and ribs. However they are not strong on their steak game. I have ordered medium rare, but got well done instead. But still good place to grab food or drink on the way.
Three of us really enjoyed our special personal pizza the “personal ecstasy “ is my favorite and my husband liked the short ribs. We regularly eat at Smokey’s; the service is always friendly and the food good.
We really like Smokey's the only issues that we had was my sons steak was fatty and he didn't enjoy it that much and the air conditioner wasn't working properly and it was very warm inside.
The bartender (Kelley or Kathy) seemed to have no understanding of customer service. I had to wait 15 minutes for a refill on water, which made it difficult to enjoy my meal. She... Reserva una mesa ahora
Exceeded my expectations! I absolutely loved their drunken clams—generous portions and delicious food. It was a busy Friday night, but surprisingly, we didn't have to wait at all.
