Now, about the food—amazing! We ordered the meatless nachos and the meatless sandwich, and the portions were huge (one serving could easily be shared). Everything tasted fantastic! Although the nachos didn’t include vegan cheese or sour cream, they were still super flavorful. We added pickles to the already fantastic sandwich, and it elevated it to a whole new level—absolutely delicious!
A quick note: the vegan dishes come with non-vegan sides, so make sure to ask for no cheese, sour cream, coleslaw, etc. I didn’t request a salad, but I’m confident they would have swapped it for free if I had. I feel like I will get a little hate for these 3 stars because the reviews are all much higher but I just couldn?t do it. We love love love bbq and unfortunately the marinade or seasoning was just not a hit for us. Atmosphere: is wonderful. We really loved the brick walls and open feeling of the whole space. Service: our waitress was wonderful and everything was served generally quick. Food: we got the ribs and meat combo and added an extra meat to the platter. The ribs weren?t fall of the bone tender and the seasoning was not something we enjoyed. The brisket wasn?t bad. The pulled pork we barely touched. We just over all didn?t love the flavor of the sauce and rub. The corn bread was good...
The food at Smokin' Al's was absolutely amazing—especially the burnt ends, which were perfectly cooked without being too fatty. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy, the ribs were excellent, and the large melt brisket was phenomenal. I've fallen in love with the Rattlesnake Sauce; it's now my all-time favorite. The staff were fantastic too. Despite the busy restaurant, we received attentive, efficient, and friendly service (special thanks to Trish). The atmosphere was fantastic as well. I’d give this place more stars if I could and highly recommend it every time!
Food was absolutely delicious (burnt ends- not so fatty perfectly cooked), Mac and cheese (creamy), ribs , big melt-brisket (bangin). Rattlesnake sauce is now my favorite life sauce. Staff was absolutely amazing. Despite being busy, we lacked fornothing, and everyone was efficient, attentive, and friendly (shoutout to Trish). Atmosphere was absolutely awesome. Would givemore stars, and absolutely recommend. Every time.

It was overall a great place. I?ve been once before and got the smoked chicken-which is what I recommend. This is first time trying their grilled chicken and I didn?t too care for it since it was pretty bland and I had to add a lot of black pepper andsalt when it came to the table. However, the drinks were great and so were the ribs. I definitely recommend going here, theatmosphere and service is great.
Been going to Smokin' Al's for a long time since they had their location in Bay Shore. When that one shut down, I've still been coming here. Food is still as good as ever. Portions are HUGE so expect a to-go bag unless you're really hungry. Ribs, pulledpork and mac cheese are my personal favorites (as shown in pictures). Our service is always good every time we go. 5/5recommend!
I've been here so many times and it has never disappointed. Their portions are huge and everything I've had on the menu has been delicious. Today I got a brisket sandwich with slaw and fries and I was very happy. Staff is super nice and there is a Pokemon go gym in the restaurant if you're into that.

Very generous portions! The pic of Mac n Cheese was from the kids menu! Chicken was very moist and ribs were perfectly cooked.
