Smoovie Grignotheque

After visiting the Dordogne Perigord area for many years and struggling to find any vegan options beyond Pizza Sans Fromage , it is great to see so many vegatarian vegan restaurants opening up recently. The short drive up the Vezere valley now (September 2017) offers vegetarian restaurants or cafes in Les Eyzies, St Leon sur Vezere, Thonac and Montignac (and maybe more). SmooVie Grignotheque is a delight, located in the beautiful St Leon sur Vezere. We opted for the Burger and the Avacado sandwich, both of which were delicious and filling. Camping nearby made a special visit to the only fully vegan restaurant in the area. We had the Gourmetburger who was amazing! Nothing like before, everything on the grounds, even the rollers handmade. Also had the cheese cake, can highly recommend the pear and chocolate, man had the mango cheese cake. If you are in the area, please support this vegan restaurant! A magnificent seating area in the courtyard! We were served by a beautiful English-speaking lady, all staff are super friendly.

I had the gourmet burger and it was awesome. My wife had the falafel and it was awesome too. We will be back! Great concept en very nice village makes it definatly worth a visit.

The only one in the area. Great selection of dishes! It tasted great and there was dessert and coffee.

Beautiful surprise, this little fast food in this wonderful village, but you must be patient.
