We went to the Snake River Grill after reading another review by a couple from the UK that visit this restaurant every time they are in Jackson Hole. I am so glad we did! The food is fantastic. We shared the steak tartare pizza (sounds strange but tastes amazing! , followed by Elk Medalions which was my first time eating Elk. I went with our waitresses recommendation of rare to medium rare and it was melt in the mouth. Dessert was the Eskimo bars (again, we shared which are like posh choc ices served with a warm caramel sauce delicious. So delicious in fact, we are going back again before we make the long journey home to London, England.
We had an amazing time at Snake River Grill. It was our first night at Jackson and we were so happy we chose this place. Service is 10/10. Our waiter was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful Food 10/10. No words. Everything looks good and tastes even better Overall the best place we have tried in this town so far! The gourmet cuisine at this restaurant is delicious, but the portions are small for the high price. The service is friendly and attentive, and the decor is attractive, creating a peaceful ambiance that is perfect for conversation. This dining experience is very upscale, but be prepared for smaller portion sizes compared to the cost.
Love the feel of this restaurant. The food was much better than most Jackson Hole restaurants. Really my own criticism was our waiter. He was downright rude. I would have given one star for service but for the hostess and food runners were both nice and friendly. The rude waiter kept us from coming back on our last night.

After a long day of hiking, we had a delightful dinner at this restaurant. We tried a variety of dishes, including focaccia, truffle fries, carrots, squash, ragu, and steak. The portions were on the smaller side, allowing us to enjoy everything without feeling too full. Overall, everything was delicious.
The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of the city and can accommodate large groups, however, the management lacks in terms of hospitality. Despite their reputation and years of experience, we were extremely let down by the lack of attentiveness from the staff.

reservations sit immediately. kellner was friendly, helpful and attentive. meal was especially right in front of the menu and desert was delicious. understand the need for reservations. not cheap, but worth it!

The food was excellent and the service was outstanding! I would give a rating of 5 for both the food and service. The atmosphere also scored a perfect 5.
