This place has a new owner that is running the restaurant now. Sooo much better. I am Korean btw. Previous owner treated this place as an order at the counter style. Their portions were not that great and they only gave two side dishes (Banchan), typical Korean restaurants should give 5 to 9 side dishes. I don’t know why some korean owners take this cheap option. The new owners are making it more of a sit down style restaurant. The portions are much bigger and it came with 5/6 side dishes. Also the service was much better! I don't know anything about Korean food; can't tell whether the food was good Korean or not. I can say the place was a clean and bright facility with sufficient parking in a nondescript strip mall next to another Asian restaurant. We came with two little children and the staff was very accommodating, with a nice table for 8 of us and high chairs. The food came quickly and there was plenty. No alcohol but nice soft drink choices. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and I paid $150. It's a chain restaurant with outlets all over the country so I imagine it meets the test for people who are familiar with the cuisine. I prefer Chinese.

First time going to SGD and did not disappoint! The food was awesome and the service was great! The staff was especially nice. Didn't know that you can get extra servings of the appetizer, they asked if I wanted more and of course the answer was a big YES! Came here with my wife and daughter, they enjoyed it too! And best of all, the check didn't hurt the pocket! I will be coming back here.

Can't beat the lunch and dinner prices! Generous portions (soon tofu set) and I always have left overs so it's like 2 for 1 ?. Love that the rice is served in the a hot stone bowl (dine in). First time going to this Oakbrook location. Everything was great. Hot tea and banchan were included with the meal. Food was delicious. Too bad I live far from this

The soup was lacking in flavor, but the service was outstanding—definitely a 5-star experience. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.
