A Classic Dive with Hit-and-Miss Fare Stepping into this old-school bar feels like a journey back in time. The dimly lit interior, adorned with dark walls and black ceiling tiles, exudes a classic, cozy atmosphere. Service-wise, we were pleasantly surprised. Our server was attentive and kept our drinks flowing steadily. Unfortunately, the food was a mixed bag. While the Cajun Chicken sandwich was a flavorful winner, and the Chicken Parmesan was both substantial and satisfying, the fries left something to be desired. This place is a hidden gem in Socastee. The prices are reasonable and the food is fantastic. They have all you can eat fish fry on Wednesdays and Fridays. Also tried several appetizers and they were excellent. Their Chicken Bog Balls are the best I'veeaten. The wait staff is excellent. It does have a bar side and the restaurant side, and sometimes the place gets a bit loud(usually) later in the evening, so if that might be too much for you, come by earlier in the day. I have eaten here for bothlunch and a late dinner. Stop by and give them a try, you'll be glad you did.

Food, Service, and Atmosphere are all way above average for a tourist area. Prices are in line with the area and they offer daily specials that help the pocket. (We usually take the we save on the specials and add it to the tip because these young kids they employ really hustle. This little gem caters more to locals than tourists. They can always find a spot for you, but reservations are helpful.

When we first got in, we sat in a booth and the table was small for 4 people and the wood bench was uncomfortable. They moved us to a standard table and it was a world of difference. The Philly cheesesteak was good and the steak was tender. The service was great and the manager owner was walking around checking on everyone.
The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was very tasty. I had the meatloaf dinner which tasted like my mothers. My wife had Chicken with mashed potatoes. Out daughter had perogies. Each of us enjoyed our food and have sworn to return each time that we are in the area.
Food is always good but last few times I went for fish fry it was like pulling teeth to get another piece of fish ., all you can eat fish and I left hungry. Stopped at McDonald s on way home , pissed , ain’t going back.
The food and service was awsome, and priced very reasonably. The meatloaf is a must try. We will be back again on our next trip to MB. I highly recommend you call ahead and make a reservation.

One of the best Fish Fries I've ever had. So good, I cleaned my whole plate, and that's unusual for me. Great price, quick service, a well oiled machine!!
The best balls. Balls out!!!. Mom's meatloaf is great too.
