Depends what you go for. If you are a vegan, searching out a good Thai meal, steer clear. My Pad Thai had shrimp. I don't think the concept of vegan was 100% clear. The ambience, if you are going to eat in, is not good. It is much more of a small, very bright cafe than a relaxing restaurant. However, the baked goods looked delicious (non-vegan) and those eating them seemed quite happy. I hate to give them 2-stars because if you went for coffee and a baked good or ordered your Thai food to go, you would have had a different experience than I did. Also, if you weren't vegan you probably would have enjoyed the extra large shrimp in your Pad Thai. And the staff was very friendly. I have to say I...

This restaurant is a small and cozy place with only a few tables. I tried the social pad thai and found it to be average - not terrible, but not outstanding either. At $22, I would have expected better quality. It was my first time in Ottawa, so I'm not sure if this is the best Thai restaurant in town. Coming from Southeast Asia where Thai food is abundant, my standards are quite high. However, the portion size was generous.

Ordered delivery through Doordash, the food was packed carefully and tasted amazing! The spring rolls taste fresh and juicy (not like in some other places were they feel frozen) The Pad Thai is one of the best that I’ve ever had. The taste is really good and feels authentic. Would of have liked it more if it had some veggies to make it a more complete meal. Definitely a Ottawa hidden gem. Overall 10/10 I recommend it!

Very tasty Thai food. I love their pad se ew (thick rice noodle stir fry) and their fried rice. They are always very quick when you order take out. I always have leftover for another meal. I would recommend this place if they want to eat good Thai food in Ottawa. Reserva una mesa ahora

Have been here a few times, food is delicious. I ordered once from Uber eats and did not order rice, they generously added rice to my order. My only complaint is that shrimp cost $2 extra, yet there usually are only 4 shrimp included in each dish with shrimp.

I've been to social Thai a few times and absolutely loved it. This experience was not that great, however. Their pad thai was too sweet. I would probably go back and give them another chance, since this was one of my favorite thai places.

The place is cute. Went with a friend for a date night. We split the pad thai, shrimp rolls and calamari. I am definitely going back for the calamari appetizer. For the price, it was delish and great value.

The best Thai food in Ottawa! I’m Polish and could not eat any spicy food but ordering from here trained me to be able to enjoy spicy food. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. Love love love! Reserva una mesa ahora

I have only been here for breakfast and the coffee is excellent and the pastries are exceptional, they are all my favourite . The service is always friendly.

Went in for a coffee! We had vanilla lattes, one hot one iced, both were very good! Service was great and the inside was cute and great for sitting.
