I don't enjoy taking some stars off a review ever, but I also believe in honesty. It has been a while since I was last in here (that alone speaks). I enjoyed it more at the previous locations which were right on Westwood Ave. For me that was more convenient, I'm not a fan of walking across the busy intersection by the park. But I of course realize they wanted a larger space. The last time I went in the new space, I was very sad to see them use plastic/single use pretty much everything (way before Covid) . I was dining in yet I still got a plastic cup, straw and paper plate. Not environmentally friendly at all. Also not many vegan options. Another thing is I emailed one of the owners a while...
The Chocolate Oreo Cake featured layers of moist chocolate cake with a light, whipped cream-like frosting, all topped off with a sprinkle of Oreo crumbs. While we enjoyed the cake's texture, we found the frosting to be somewhat lacking in flavor; when indulging, we hope for a sweeter experience! The Peanut Butter Cup Brownie Mousse Sundae was a different story. It began with a rich fudge base, topped not with ice cream, but with a generous scoop of peanut butter mousse, which had a subtle cheesecake-like flavor. Drizzled with chocolate ganache and finished with a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, this dessert was certainly a showstopper. We all preferred this indulgent treat over the less exciting...
I wanted to share my experience at this restaurant, as I visited this morning and was impressed by their commitment to safety. Everyone was wearing masks, and they were preparing for outdoor service. The woman who assisted me was incredibly kind. I'm eight months pregnant, and she went above and beyond to find me a chair, which I really appreciated. Since I'm new to the area, this was my first time at this establishment. Now, more than ever, it's important to support our local businesses. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to return!
The staff at Sogno always makes you feel welcome and eagerly accommodates any request I have. They serve freshly brewed coffee prepared to your liking, paired with delicious baked goods that perfectly complement your drink. Curbside pickup is extremely easy. I was torn between giving this restaurant 2 or 3 stars because I was quite disappointed with the flavor of the crepes. The crepe itself was thicker than usual and so doughy that I had to peel off a layer. I tried both a savory and a sweet crepe, and unfortunately, both were lackluster and soggy. I was really looking forward to a great experience given all the positive reviews, so this was a letdown.
Excellent coffee, crepes, and pastries! The staff is incredibly friendly, and there's plenty of seating along with nearby parking. The quality is consistently outstanding, and their sister restaurant, Caffe Anello, is equally fantastic. These are two wonderful family-owned businesses that definitely deserve our support!
Placed an online order for 2 slices of cake. One was the funfetti cake with birthday cake cookie dough center, and the other was the s'moreo chocolate chip cookie cake. They were FANTASTIC! Such amazing desserts here and a hidden gem in Westwood ! Reserva una mesa ahora
