The customer service was remarkable. My fiance and I showed up a little bit early for his birthday to have some appetizers by the bar together. The bartender was very attentive, and caring, and gave great recommendations from the appetizer menu appetizer menu. I also had a table of 10 for hibachi, and a reservation for 8 PM.. They usually do not sit that many people until everybody is there because it fills the table. The hostess, the bartender, the waiters, and the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us because everyone was late and even took family photos of us after dinner.
Food quality was good, tuna sashimi appetizer tasted clean and fresh but the texture/cut was weird. Had the chicken pot stickers cooked well but room temperature, chicken spring roll was served hot. Filet Mignon was very good and large portion. Only downside to the evening is the smell of the grilled food clung to our clothes and hair, perhaps this is a problem with this type of dining.
Our reservation for six was handlers promptly. Because we were not having habachi, we were seated in the lounge. The lounge adjoins a very loud noisy bar and the noise level was very disturbing. Music was extremely distracting and made it very hard to have a conversation. As a result,even though the food and service was just ok, I would not return.
The hibachi food was delicious and the chef put on an entertaining show. The waiter could have been more prompt in refilling our drinks. The restaurant was quite warm, causing visible sweating and discomfort for us and other diners. The air conditioning should have been turned up higher.

We have visited several hibachi restaurants in our area over the years, and Sogo is definitely the best. The food is top-notch, the menu offers a wide variety of options, and the staff is exceptional. There's no need to go anywhere else where you might have a vegetable thrown at you.
I always have a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the hibachi experience is very enjoyable. The portions are generous, so you will likely have leftovers for another meal, which makes the prices worth it.
We sat around the Habachi table and the food was served in an adequate amount of time and was really good and we had a great time celebrating my birthday; but the waitress that was getting our drinks was terrible, way too slow!!
The food and service were excellent, but the highlight was the impressive show put on by the chef. This restaurant is a perfect spot for a birthday celebration, especially for kids who will love the entertainment.

We went on a Saturday night, which was very crowded, no reservations, but the staff was very nice and very accommodating. Our food was delicious. Great place to go for dinner or to celebrate a birthday.
