Sogo Hibachi Grill

At this price point, everything should be better. The scallops were salty as were the noodles and fried rice. The beef was good. The shrimp were just okay. The service was just okay. The chef was talented but at $60 per person inclusive of gratuity you expect a server to check for drinks more than once during the seating. The birthday routine blasting from speakers to the tune of Turning Japanese along with a gong being struck takes what should be a fun special-occasion dinner staple into comic almost parody levels especially the 4th time around. The atmosphere may be better than other options, but everything else is average at best for an above average price.

The customer service was remarkable. My fiance and I showed up a little bit early for his birthday to have some appetizers by the bar together. The bartender was very attentive, and caring, and gave great recommendations from the appetizer menu appetizer menu. I also had a table of 10 for hibachi, and a reservation for 8 PM.. They usually do not sit that many people until everybody is there because it fills the table. The hostess, the bartender, the waiters, and the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us because everyone was late and even took family photos of us after dinner.

Had a great evening with my Meetup Group here last Thursday. Hibachi Chefs here are really great and the Service was top-notch. Cocktails were quite good, and they used fresh ingredients for their fruit based drinks. We were a large group, and each of us ordered different types of Protein for the Hibachi, and everything tasted good. Seafood was a little overcooked, but they still tasted great, and it's bound to differ from Chef to Chef, so no big deal. Wish I had ordered some Sushi and other Menu items but the Hibachi order itself was more than filling, so stopped myself.

Food quality was good, tuna sashimi appetizer tasted clean and fresh but the texture/cut was weird. Had the chicken pot stickers cooked well but room temperature, chicken spring roll was served hot. Filet Mignon was very good and large portion. Only downside to the evening is the smell of the grilled food clung to our clothes and hair, perhaps this is a problem with this type of dining. The hibachi food was delicious and the chef put on an entertaining show. The waiter could have been more prompt in refilling our drinks. The restaurant was quite warm, causing visible sweating and discomfort for us and other diners. The air conditioning should have been turned up higher.

The hibachi is mediocre at best. The wait staff is usually very nice, and so are the chefs. However the food is not seasoned well every time we go. Not worth the price considering there are other hibachi places nearby that have better tasting food for the same amount.

I always have a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the hibachi experience is very enjoyable. The portions are generous, so you will likely have leftovers for another meal, which makes the prices worth it.

This restaurant is excellent! I mistakenly thought it was BYOB, but even without bringing my own drinks, it was still fantastic. I definitely need to come back for the drinks. The sushi was fresh and the service was great. Reserva una mesa ahora

We went on a Saturday night, which was very crowded, no reservations, but the staff was very nice and very accommodating. Our food was delicious. Great place to go for dinner or to celebrate a birthday.

Nice atmosphere. Yummy food. Good presentation while preparing the food. Nice service. Treated my family to dinner here and everybody loved it. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area.
