Quiet restaurant in hotel Gastronomico San Miguel. The Gastronómico bit set expectations high! As we were staying in the hotel we felt we should try it. On a Friday evening only two tables were occupied thus little atmosphere. Service was friendly and good. Prices ok on the high side. Shared sardine starter was tasty but more of an amuse bouche in terms of size. Sea food tagliatelle really parpadelle. Strong seafood flavour but little actual seafood content. Bit disappointing. A walnut interlude with an extraordinary nut cracker was fun! Desserts were excellent. Almond coulant and homemade millefeuille. Both delicious. Fabulous Galician Celtic style music in the background

Perhaps one of the best restaurants in Santiago, Time magazine places it among the most interesting after visiting the cathedral. In my view, professionalism and quality of the kitchen must be a reference. The hotel with a very comfortable atmosphere and preserving the image of the city, a short but very innovative list with excellent traditional flavors, desserts at the highest quality and an excellent table service. A nice, friendly and special place for those I recommend can appreciate a high cuisine, traditional and excellent taste. Totally recommended, I am in touch with the comments of Time magazine.

Me ha sorprendido muy gratamente. Cuando han servido los diferentes platos, he pensado que estaba en una estrella Michelín o dos. Carta no muy amplia, pero lo suficiente y muy bien planteada. Los entrantes exquisitos, y los segundos, la verdad de sorpresa en la exquisitez, un compendio de sabores en su justa medida Todos los comensales muy satisfechos. Si quieres celebrar algo, o darte una satisfacción este es el sitio ideal. La atención exquisita en su justa medida por las dos personas que nos atendieron, muy amables, educados y atentos en las necesidades que pudieran surgir. Para mi EXCELENTE

Wonderful restaurant at Santiago de Compostela. Great chef using local ingredients with a modern touch. Cozy rooms and nice small garden to either eat or enjoy a cup of coffee. She can accommodate celiacs without any issues.

Solo dining experience where I actually said to them please just let the chef choose and surprise me . Worth. Every. Euro.
