We've been looking for a great Thai restaurant and have been finding only mediocre until we tried this little restauant. Having only 6 tables, dining in may be tight but well worth the wait. My favorite meal to get is the crab Rangoon with pad Thai extra spicy and Thai iced tea. Hands down the best Thai food I've ever had and my personal favorite restaurant. The owner, Pi, is a very hard working, honest man and has become a close friend. The right atmosphere, the right people and the right food make Somsri a staple of Winfield.
I ordered food on the app and it was $25.48 Didn’t let me place the order so I called in and placed an order when I picked it up the tried to charge me $35. The women charging didn’t know how much it was and was laughing and asking the man in the kitchen about it. Horrible guest service never eating here again
Used to be very good, now major lack of quality. Frozen fried egg rolls, tastless. Pad thai like a huge lump of overcooked spaghetti. Curry, very few vegetables and tough fatty chicken, mushy overcooked rice. Waitress was nice, food was gross.

Best Thai food me and my wife have ever eaten. Awesome taste. We ordered red curry and pad Thai noodle. They were just fantastic. service was awesome too. We will def revisit and recommend this place.
We order on a regular basis and the food is uniformly excellent. Very tasty. Always on time. The orders differ but they always get it right. If you love Thai food you will be happy here
I ordered the chicken pad Thai, and it was quite disappointing. Perhaps they have other dishes that are better. On the plus side, the service and parking/location were good.
I had the tom kha soup, which was fantastic. I also enjoyed the sweet and sour shrimp, which was delicious. My two guests loved the soup and their meals as well.

Recently stopped by Somsri because I was at the Central Dupage Hospital. Ordered pad see ew extra crispy and for under 10 bucks, it’s great.
Pad Thai is fantastic! The staff is friendly, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend it!
