Song is the most authentic Sichuan Chinese food in the area. My parents grew up in China and pretty much refuse to eat Chinese food out at any other restaurants in the area (other than Shu and Han, which are run by the same owner). The Sichuan flavors are exactly what you want flavorful and spicy with that signature tingling sensation. I love the dan dan noodles, gummy noodles, chili oil wontons, and the SOUP DUMPLINGS!! I’ve had the “best” soup dumplings in nyc and these were far superior. Flavorful broth, juicy meaty filling, thin dumpling skin. I was convinced that there are 0 authentic Chinese restaurants in CT. They're all just American Chinese restaurants (which have their own merit). Nothing tasted like the food I had when I lived in Shanghai.But Song delivers uncompromisingly authentic flavors. The beef noodles are so hearty and earthy, and it's as close as you can get to the Taiwanese 牛肉麵 vendors. I'll have to come back and try the xiaolongbao.If you're looking for a genuinely authentic Chinese dining experience, I recommend Song.

I went to a restaurant to eat every time and even though their service was not good, I would always leave a almost 20% tip. But today I didn’t. The waiter chased me outside and asked me for a tip. There was a reason why I didn’t give it, but she said I wasn’t Civilized people, she said don’t come here again! I just don't give tip once, She Juged me are not a civilized person. It is too coercive and snobbish.Don’t come here anymore!

One of my favorite places in West Hartford! The chengdu dumplings, bamboo shoots and soup dumplings are my go to dishes. Food has lots of flavor and the menu has great variety. Food comes out fast and waiters are attentive. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was good but I spent $46 left a $10 cash tip and they later added a tip on my receipt of 4.00 charged on my credit card. Just watch for check how much they charge your credit card. Shame Reserva una mesa ahora
