the hotel sun is centrally located in the pedestrian zone, right next to the police station in offenburg. it existed for more than 700 years and is a cult, original to call, with pleasantly bathing family flair. the house dog lies with the dress of a metzgerhund right in front of the entrance, one can make a big step over it to the reception, but finally one is only hospitable, the dog is too home; had occupied a room with etagenclose and etagen shower, since it was most convenient to spend an overnight with breakfast 49 €. the water was warm. the rooms are rustic in dark wood furnished, with solid wardrobe, table, night table and edges with an incandescent lamp (without lampshade and bed with high wooden closures on head and foot, wash basin and large mirror above. with the bed I had so my hard, it was too short for me, stretched diagonally inside, earlier the people were only smaller. the matratze was good, not convincing, in contrast to my expectations. the floor has tried very on the floor and in the room to walk on the height, no chance! each step is audible, but they do not break through. in strong contrast are the very modern flat-screen televisions to see, all common programs are preset. wideband w lan is not always to use depending on the room. have chosen the cheapest overnight stay, for 30€ more there are bigger bets and wc on the rooms, as others reported. the breakfast was plentiful choice and the staff very friendly. the house cat also came up and crawled in the early morning, was kindly thought and let himself be stroked. it did not find bad there, but for 49€ it was a bit expensive in contrast to comfort. on the other hand, I have been in no hotel for at least 30 years and cannot judge it properly. I can imagine that I would redesign the mood, was nice, that had feeling to be a time trip in Grandma's bedroom and at a significant location without guessing exactly why. family, but no wellnessoase.

very nice stylish hotel, breakfast in the old courtyard is great, good restaurant. there as in the hotel very friendly service. rooms are spacious and quiet. we would like to book this hotel once again if you stay in offenburg and recommend it to them. a climate system would be nice in summer, but there is a fan in the room. minibar in the room would be nice, there is a refrigerator with drinks in the flur.

we were invited to a birthday party. a nice next room was reserved. the parking spaces in the courtyard were comfortable. the served menu was very tasty and nothing to complain. the attentive service very pleasant. we looked at the gastronomy: very stylish and cozy, very nice with old wall dress. short: historical, very pleasant house.
