Dinner tonight was exceptionally good at a newish restaurant about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the train station in Baden. A traditional Swiss dinner of veal and mushrooms in a wonderfully rich (but not heavy) sauce with rosti (potatoes). Chef Herceg and his lovely wife treated us as if we were honored guests in their home, wanting to help translate/elaborate upon the menu, and giving us a few extra nice touches such as trying the homemade soup prepared for the next day (delicious), as well as an after dinner shot of a Croatian liqueur. Chef Herceg's recommended wines (a Croatian red and Croatian white) were spot on as was his homemade dark bread. Ambiance was lovely well appointed inside and...
