Sonne Matten - Reservar una mesa

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Noisy, terrible breakfast, allowed smoking in the bar area which drifted into the hotel and the rooms. Terrible location need transport to both train stations and the bus stops running quite early. Very rare anyone...attending the reception area. Whilst we were staying there was work being carried out outside, and the work men were allowed to use the breakfast room in their work clothes! Trolley noise outside some times as early as !!! Power leads were laid across the floor of the breakfast room could easily be tripped over. Our bedroom was a fire escape emergency exit and a spare key in a glass cabinet outside the room!!! In dieser gemütlichen Dorf-Beiz in Matten bei Interlaken ist jeder Abend ein besonderes Erlebnis. Kathrin ist eine hervorragende Köchin und versteht es, leckere Gerichte auf den Tisch zu bringen. Söli, der Patron, der ebenso als Schauspieler, Kunstmaler oder Unterhalter eine Spitzenkarriere haben könnte, gibt dem Betrieb seinen Charakter.

Un service des plus désagréable, un plat du jour trop cher pour une tranche de pain avec 2 morceaux de fromage à raclette et un oeuf au plat. Petite salade mêlée en entrée, pas de dessert ni de café avec le menu. Franchement décevant.Encore un exemple qui démontre la baisse de qualité dans l'hôtellerie suisse....

Attentive service. Excellent food. Close to Tellespeile Theater. Interior design is of Europe. Not too far from downtown. Great view of Jungfrau a short walk away

Plenty of choice at breakfast. Been in hotels where you gat a small piece of baguette, one piece of butter, and a small pot of jam. Evening meals enjoyable
