Unless you want to ski off somewhere else, this is it! So I was anticipating terrible, overpriced food but the Wiener Schnitzel I had (twice) was superb and not that expensive (for Kitzbuhel anyway). Much better than the one I had in town anyway. And if you want to eat halfway up a mountain in the company of a thousand other skiers, this is the place to be.

Auf der Sonnenrast angekommen erwartete uns neben traumhaften Blick eine gemütliche Location. Freundlicher Service mit Klasse Espresso und Cappucino, sowie einem Speckbrot vom Feinsten war der ideale Start zur Wanderung. Dazu sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen wieder...

Although not that different from other ski slope restaurants, when the sun is shining, it's magical. You can take a nap in the sun deck chairs or have some hearty food/drinks at the bar. There was live music when we were there. A heaven!

The Restaurant located on top the mountain nearly the Cable car station, it's pity, 4 cable car station close with each other. Of course beautiful views around there, you'll get very good traditional Austrian food.

Fantastisk utsikt fra en STOR terrasse, spesielt mot Pengelstein, og videre mot Hohe Tauern området med Grossglockner i det fjerne.
