Pizza is a difficult to review because there are so many varieties a universal comparison is impossible. Sonny's was excellent pizza, although it was not my favorite style of pizza. The crust is textured closest to Neapolitan style. The red sauce was amazing (I would drink the stuff), and the pepperoni was delicious. The cheese, however, was where this pizza lacked. There just wasn't enough of it. That's largely a personal preference, however, and I highly recommend you try their pizza and decide for yourself. Do sit in the pizza garden. It is a little loud, but the ambiance is nice.
This is a very nice pizza place and the pizza was good, but the pizza was not hot, even right when it got to my table. It was lukewarm at most. It was also a bit hard to cut. The beer selection could be better, but they do have a few good beers. I kind of like it how the tip is already included in the bill, which is the way it should be around the United States, and the way that it already is in most countries. I also think that things were a bit overpriced here, but it was good overall. The staff were nice, too. The decor was pretty neat.
What a lovely little oasis in the city. The servers and host staff were friendly. The pizza was warm and delicious. The wine and cocktails were tasty and affordable. The patio was a bit hot, even though it wasn't too warm out ~80*F), but that is a minor complaint. Just go!
