Sonny's Roti Ship - Reserva de mesa

We mostly go in for the breads and rolls, sometimes the chicken patties. I gave it 2 stars, not for the food but rather the customer service. I didn 't feel safe in asking what certain dishes were as they 're food name varies from what I 'm accustomed to eating even from my West Indian/Hispanic upbringing. I love variation. I love all types of food but questions aren 't welcomed and often times met with a look that makes you feel foolish and even insulted for asking. So now we

This restaurant offers the best dhal puri among the other roti shops on the avenue. However, while the curries are tasty, they are rather small in portion size and could benefit from more flavor. I wouldn't recommend spending your money on the pastries, either. It's also noticeable that the staff seem quite anxious around their boss, who keeps a close watch on everything they do. Working in such an environment must be quite stressful.

I enjoyed the chicken curry, pumpkin, and roti. The pepper sauce that accompanied my meal truly enhanced the overall flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the Liberty area and craving some West Indian cuisine. The customer service was excellent as well—the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Read the reviews: some one did say it needs more flavor... they should mark the roties I received my friends lamb and they received my ox tail... they tasted very similar. This is a regular bodega shop may not return there are other shops to experiment. No umf factor. The ambience can use some native posters. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food and service here are excellent. I have never had any complaints. It's one of the best Trinidadian restaurants I've ever visited. I highly recommend it, and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

They have the best fish cake and sauce.. 2 of the fish cakes filled me up.. you get ur money worth.. also the Jellabi taste really good.. not too sweet not too hard.. it was the best I have had si far..

Coming here for the 3 years i have been back in New York. Salt fish and bake or doubles and I am never disappointed with my order or customer service. Sorrel is one of the best I have tasted.

I visited this restaurant once, and I've noticed two charges on my card. The staff member took my card, and if you don't keep an eye on your bank account, you might end up getting scammed. Reserva una mesa ahora

The shark and bake was good!!!! Very happy we wound up here! And, the people were all sweet to me! The seamoss punch hit the spot! Will be back!
