The restaurant is a cozy little spot with a limited but tasty sushi menu. However, I was taken aback when they automatically added a 15% service charge without mentioning it beforehand. This applies to both dine-in and takeout orders. I likely would have tipped 18% on my own, but now I'm hesitant to return. I would have been especially frustrated if I had known about the charge ahead of time. They only brought it up after I had already paid, and the service charge was already included. Overall, I didn't enjoy my experience and left feeling unimpressed.
The sushi was good but poorly presented and not what I expected.. the flavors were good. unlike the other sushi place here in New Minus which everything was horrible and bland.. but presentation and adding a drop of sriracha sauce on the top of spicy tuna or spicy salmon rolls is not the proper way to do it.. very limited menu and I'm not sure if I'd want them to have much more of a menu.. because they couldn't make the simple things properly but again flavors were good everything was fresh..

Service was ok. Sushi pieces were small but good taste. The sashimi was similar, small pieces and ok taste. The Miso soup was ok but missing more flavour and that silky texture. The kicker was when I paid with debit (credit card not accepted) and after the transaction was complete, the person tells me that tip was included, we hadn't recieved a bill, which removed any influence for me to have a say in it's value and experience. I won't be back.
This is a lovely, peaceful spot to indulge in high-quality sushi. The menu is concise but well thought out, which suits the size of the kitchen perfectly. The flavors were delightful, and the service was exceptionally polite. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 4/5.
Tryed this place for the first time recently and came out. The sushi was good, but the sashimi was small for $3/hour and the part I didn't like most was that a 15% tip was automatically applied to my bill and they didn't mention it until I asked for the bill. Felt like a stubborn way to do business and I won't be back.
