Sophia Italian Bistro

The food was amazing. We were in farmingdale on a Friday night and it was too packed for us. We decided tk fond somewhere else a little more pur speed. This place was definitely on the higher end side of Italian in the area. I ordered steak and it was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. We had dessert and even some coffee. Everything was very good. We have been regulars at Sophia 's for years. Food is consistently good, as is the service. Their prices have steadily been going up. I was charged $17 for an Old Fashioned. But, we always enjoyed it. However, last night we were there we had 5 people. When the bill came, they had already added a 20% tip. Out of principal, we will not be going back. It was our go to place.
