I had never felt so robbed of my money. My friends and I went and shared burrata and calamari. The burrata was amazing with lots of flavors and the calamari was average. Then came my main dish, mushroom risotto. I usually dont like to complain about my food (unless I find hair or other foreign objects in my food . But i took two bites and couldnt eat anymore because it was waaaay too salty. It was like shoving spoonfuls of salt in my mouth. It was also the same with my two other friends who had ordered the shrimp linguine. The manager saw our faces and came over and we told him that we couldnt eat our dish. He apologized and told us he would bring new ones out right away. I was really upset...
the food was good, it was fully booked so we got seated at the bar, we had no problem with it, but right after we order the waitress and the hostess started laughing about how they did not understand what we said (because of our pronunciation), in front of us, not even 2 meters apart, for someone who’s english clearly isn’t their first language had a lot of audacity to laugh at us, it was so disrespectful Service: Dine in
First time at Sorella and I definitely will come back. The calamari was maybe some of the best I have had in the city. Atmosphere and decor are beautiful and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The pasta speaks for itself!!!
