My niece told me about the place down from her job. She thought I would like it and I did. I smelled the soups as soon as I walked in the door ? ? very good aromas. The young lady at the counter was nice and professional. She was NOT on her phone phone as we see A LOT of young people today. I had the half soup (kale and black eyed pea soup -half sandwich(corned beef) combo for about $10. Both were good! And I was full leaving out. The place was clean so I dined in and yes I checked the restroom ? Had to grab a piece of the lemon pound cake on my way out. They said we hope you will come back?! I will ??Vegetarian options: Nice to have so many veggie options.Parking: Easy in Easy out!
This charming little restaurant was the perfect spot to satisfy both my girlfriend's vegan cravings and our friends' meat-loving appetites. They offer options like steak chili and corn bean Reubens for meat eaters, as well as delicious vegan soups (you absolutely have to try the white bean soup! <3), a fantastic bohnenburger, wraps, and more! The staff was exceptionally friendly (I know I mention it often, but these folks were genuinely engaging, funny, and helpful), and you could tell they took pride in their restaurant while maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to visit Southfield again, and I’m definitely looking forward to returning to SoupDive!
This place never disappoints. I think every menu item I had was great. It is something about the way the sandwiches are prepared that has exactly the right amount of crisp, never hard ends on the bread, and the Dive Sauce is amazing! Sometimes they limit the available soup options as many places do due to demand and waste. Sometimes, depending on the time of day, expect it to wait. It is in a highly populated area with many companies. It is a smaller facility with a smaller staff. However, the staff is usually very polite and efficient when I go. I think it's better than Zoup Panera Bread. I recommend it's worth every dollar!
I just attempted to place a lunch order and discovered that they are now only accepting orders over the phone through an automated system. I spent 15 minutes trying to place my order, but it kept getting messed up. When I called the restaurant directly, they informed me that I could either come in, and they would prepare my order for me. Unfortunately, I don't have time to wait, as I only get a short lunch break during work. They've stopped taking orders over the phone altogether. I won’t be returning. On a positive note, they do offer vegan options.

Placed a order at 10:17am today from their direct order option only to find out once we called the automated system says “their closed. So we drove there and arrived at 11:55am and the store was closed. It’s still posted on DoorDash as well as opened. To take a customer money which was over $80 and to have the restaurant closed is unacceptable. Now I’ll have to dispute it with my bank. My family always patronizes this restaurant and we’re disappointed. Please be mindful to make sure if your closed to not have the restaurant listed as opened.
I always come here. I love the food and love the owners. But this time I seem to have waited a little longer than I expected. The young Winona decided to talk on her personal phone and I get it when family calls and there’s a problem answer by all means. But please take it to the back or the bathroom, that way no one has an attitude or mad.
The customer service wasn't at its best today; it’s usually quite good. The soup was enjoyable, but unfortunately, the brown rice was old and tough. Overall rating for the food: 3/5.
My husband and I loved the place. So many verity of soups and you can take sample of soup before ordering which is great. Yummy sandwiches too.

The food looks fresh. This place seems to do it right. I had the salad. Very fresh. The owner is a lovely lady.
