South Gate Brewing Company

We were passing through from Kings Canyon NP to Yosemite NP. A very good address if you are in the area, even worth a small detour. Unfortunately, someone had to drive, so only one person could taste the delicious, home-brewed beer for a late lunch. The staff is very helpful and friendly, explains everything very well. The food was quite affordable and very tasty. Everything was clean. We can really recommend this small but fine restaurant.

The beer selection is excellent and the food is fantastic. I especially loved the smash burger paired with sweet potato fries. The Brussels sprouts were also outstanding! However, I found the prickly rick sour beer to be a bit disappointing. On the other hand, their hazy IPA was amazing. I would certainly come back!

Terrible costumer service, the place had enough empty tables and the guy at the entrance said they had a waiting time of 55 minutes. I gotta say I saw many servants. I’m not really sure to say this might’ve been discrimination

We were there on our first evening in Yosemite Park. The staff were super friendly, fast service, the burgers and fries were great, great beer selection and the dessert was huge. We would love to come back :D Reserva una mesa ahora

Dog-friendly establishment. It can get quite busy in the evenings, but they offer a convenient walk-up window outside where you can order drinks while you wait.

Went in for happy hour. Were handed happy hour menus. Were told happy hour time changed and we were no longer in that time frame. We left, not happy.

They don't accept credit cards over the phone, don't offer delivery, and aren't very accommodating.
