South Hill Grill - Reserva de mesa

July 20th 2024 Called in a pickup order 2 orders of fish and chips with salad. We live within 5 minutes of the restaurant. Got home , food was hot and looked amazing , till we took our 1st bite . Literally about a half pound of fried batter I showed on the picture I provided . Tearing into the over cooked fried fish just trying to find actual fish. It's our 1st time with this place , I understand not everything is going to be perfect , however honestly after paying almost $40 dollars for 2 orders of fish and chips and I added a $4 tip for a pickup order , this will be my last time going here . We almost went to zips on regal for fish and chips , well we thought we get better here , hind sigh...

This was the first time to thos little gem, I immediately realized it's the go to place for lunch anyway). Great menu options, good potions, fair prices for today's market. And the service was great. I will definitely try it again, You should to. See you again South Hill Grill.? Parking: They share a parking lot with the YMCA, so I could see where there could be a challenge during peek hours at the Y. But there were still a few spots at lunch with a full restaurant. Kid-friendliness: There were several families dining at lunch, although I did not check out the kid menu.

I visited for the first time after always wanting to try it out. We arrived around 6 PM and were promptly seated, which was a nice touch. We placed our order shortly after—a salad and tacos with a side of fries—but the wait began. Although my wife’s drink and the fries arrived, everything else took far too long. The restaurant didn’t appear to be overly busy, and we noticed some guests who arrived after us were already enjoying their meals. By 6:55, we decided to ask for the check for the fries and drink and ended up leaving without eating.

I've been there a couple of times, and I initially thought my first experience was just a fluke. The service was slow, and I had to wait a long time. I decided to give it another chance, but the second visit was just as disappointing. The service was terrible again, so I ended up walking out. The food is good, but the service is absolutely awful. Waitstaff needs to dress as if being in public. leggings worn below your bulging abdomen with a midriff top is not appropriate. Carrying wine with your arm wrapped around the glass is not hygienic. Atmosphere is great but staff brings the atmosphere way down.

The food is amazing but I love the staff. They are part of the reason I come there. Ty is literally the best server I’ve had. He welcomes us as if we are family every time. It’s a great place to bring family and clients.

The best food on South Hill! They offer an impressive variety of meal options. I have never been let down by the food, staff, or service. It's a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it feel like family.

Really easy place to eat. Kind staff and good food. They also had sushi on their menu. We’d definitely go back.

Food had issues service was abysmal. Had to find server for every interaction.
