I frequently travel to Southern Pines for work and often visit the Southern Pines Brewing taprooms. I've consistently had positive experiences and enjoy their beer, but this time was especially memorable! The new Oktoberfest is fantastic (I ended up having three!), and the service exceeded my expectations. Emily was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and she knows all the regulars by name, bringing a great vibe to the place. This is the canning facility for Southern Pines Beer, and their main tasting room is located downtown on Pennsylvania. While you can sample some of their beers here, it's not the complete selection of 30 brews available at their downtown location. Our server, Andrew, was very friendly and personable. He effectively compared the Southern Pines beers to well-known mainstream options, giving us a good understanding without needing to sample every single beer. We had a delightful time here, and we noticed many locals popping in just to purchase four-packs of their favorites.

This restaurant has a classic brewery bar vibe. They offer a wide selection of beers on tap, as well as in cans, and even fill growlers for you to take home. I tried the Malty by Nature, a Scottish red ale, and it was quite good. My wife sampled the Salted Caramel Macchiato Stout and declared it her beer for life. Love the beer but the taproom on Pennsylvania has a better selection of beer, and the atmosphere and venue is pretty hard to beat. Overall, if you haven't had southern pines brewing beer, you should go to the taproom on Pennsylvania since the selection is a lot better to get familiar with their beer.

Great selection! I was a huge fan of the new raspberry seltzer on the menu. Also, this is a must see if you're in to being treated like an inconvenience by the bartending staff. Their aloof disinterest is unparalleled ?
