"We came here for the Thursday South Indian buffet, but we reached the place quite late in the evening when the buffet was over. So, we went with ala carte and ordered 2 ghee dosas (with masala on the side) and a dahi vada. To our surprise, they gave us complimentary vada and halwa too. All the dishes were tasty and delicious."

I used to goto this restaurant but what I ate there today was the most pathetic form of food and cooking I ever had in LA. Firstly the Vepudu Chicken had no spice no salt and it looked stale. The Uttappam was half cooked and Idlis were stale and even the Chettinad chicken felt totally tasteless. The Mango lassi was bitter like it was a week old and after complaining they have another one. The rice which came with Chicken Chettinad was clearly looking stale and yellowish

Best butter chicken in LA! That line alone should sum up the review for this place. Though south Indian , the butter chicken here is a total knockout. I am a punjabi and butter chicken is like religion to me so beleive me when I tell you they make it really good unlike any other in LA , afcorse it doesn't match the authentic version but it is as good at as it can get here. I have tried the vijaywada biryani which is quite enormous and spicy but does lack flavor . The

On our way to LAX for our return flight ?? to India we stopped here to have lunch. It's inside Lawndale plaza so adequate parking is available. The menu had variety of both north and south Indian dishes. There is a buffet also but we ordered from the menu. We had Masala Dosa, Onion Uttappa in south Indian dishes and Palak paneer and Naan in North Indian dishes. Afterwards we had sweet Lassi. All of them had excellent taste. ???????? ???? If you are on your way to LA

Wow! This restaurant really changed my life! When I took a bite the flavors simply exploded into my mouth. They explored my taste buds like Indiana Jones. For the first time of my life I felt like something other than Australian. I felt Indian. I am now exploring Indian culture and finding beautiful things about it. Thank you southern spice!
