Soyokaze Japanese

4 people booked for dinner. requested a 5th but not a space as booked to capacity, but sat beside 3 empty tables during the meal. A plum cocktail and an asahi beer from the drinks menu ordered, but not in the position to make the cocktail as one of the spirits is not available. the asahi had run out. had planted wine instead of it was delicious! I ordered a couple of teller foods to get started. the sushi was amazingly tasty as an explosion of joy in her mouth, the taste buds that they did not know they had. I wanted to order more food, but was informed that the restaurant had run out of rice. there were 5 more outliers since we last ordered and they received the last. a sushi restaurant without rice feels a bit like a pub without beer or a chippie without chips. we were absolutely shocked. I will give soyokaze 3 stars because while they were eating and running, what we did was an absolute joy and our waitress was excellent in the handling, which was a really embarrassing situation. I would definitely come back for more sushi, but would book an earlier slot to dinner next time!

I was in soyokaze several times and have always loved the experience. Last time I went there, the experience left a bitter aftertaste. my friend and I waited for sashimi 30 minutes and when we asked the waiter why that was the...case, we were practically betrayed by him: 30 minutes waiting for good eating is nothing good, or? it is sashimi, raw fish cut into pieces. later, after we got the rest of the food, we thought we wanted to order a little more than we asked the waiter on the menu, he said that they served only hot food when they ran out of rice? a sushi bar ran out on Saturday night at 8 o'clock. that's a really good job. I will not argue that you eat well, but the service is good, it was better before.

smaller restaurant than expected, but still good pleasant Japanese experience overall. I loved shaking and the sortiment of different sushi tubs from which they can choose. it was very pleasant and the staff was friendly. I had my fair share of appetizer, head and dessert, that was quite delicious. it is good for anyone who wants to experience a taste of Japanese cuisine. I was happy.

Every time we have been we’ve ordered something different off the menu and each time it’s more delicious than the last. We’ve explored all the sushi (and fusions that serve it) restaurants in Norwich and here we have stayed. The staff are friendly attentive,...lovely relaxed atmosphere good value and just all in all a fab place to eat.

another fantastic dinner last week with friends. excellent Japanese restaurant extremely authentic mouthwater food. one of our favorite restaurants in norwich. the quality is fantastic and the prices are good. they will not be disappointed!
