1. The dining room was warm until we mentioned it to an employee. 2. We waited about 20 minutes before we we received a bread basket and then we waited about 15 minutes for our orders to be taken. 3. The calamari was a small order of large rings (the most I inexpensive variety). 4. Lobster tails were over cooked as was the chicken in a shrimp and chicken entree. The potatoes (chips) were grossly undercooked, closer to raw. 5. The empanadas lacked flavor and the dipping sauce was fair. On the upside, the lentil soup was tasty and not too salty. 6. This place is real good but just didn’t fulfill my 5 star category requirement after my first visit and here’s why, sangria could have been a bit stronger, octopus was cooked a bit too much as was the steak and lamb but somehow still had tremendous flavor adjacent to the bone. Terrible service and even worse food quality. The lobster tails tasted as if the had been frozen for months, were over cooked too. Mashed potatoes were instant and not made or real potatoes. The deserts were terrible too . 1 appetizer, 3 different meals and 3 different deserts and not one thing was descent. Not even the sangria was good, all you tasted was the Sunny D and didn’t have any fruit. Don’t waste your time or money, coming here. Spain 92 Raritan NJ prepares the Best food. Today 10/8/23 ordered the Lobster Shrimp in Garlic Sauce. OMG' that was the best tasting food. The food was delicious! I truly enjoyed the paella, and the octopus was spot on. I also tried some other appetizers, including the mussels, which were fantastic. I found the service to be excellent; the staff was very accommodating and provided thorough explanations of the dishes. We will definitely be back!
