Spark Wine Coffee - Reserva de mesa

I have to give this a round of 5 STAR! As a Portuguese, I can testify to the food at home. After 1 year and half in Switzerland, this was the first time I tasted some flavors here that reminded me of my childhood! And what is the catch? The owners managed to innovate on every dish to give him a somewhat contemporary touch without killing the cultural essence of the dish. From the concept in which you are brought after the selections of chef (and your preferences), the excellent wine collection and the recommendations you receive, this place is simply wonderful. I will come back 100 km soon as this is my number 1 restaurant for Portuguese cuisine in Switzerland. Well done!

We popped in here for a quick bite on our last night in Basel and got way more than we expected. The tapas is delicious, with a great selection. The daily special was stuffed squid which was beautiful. We shared a delicious bottle of wine...and my friend who has been searching for a similar wine to a portugese rose she'd had before asked if they might have something similar. We were bought a selection to try, a great red that my friend said was definitely the closest she'd found what great service! We finished off with some delicious Portuguese pastries which were divine! Highly recommended

Forgive me that I could start pudding first; PORTUGUESE EGG tart! IF You had the chance to try the two top bakery in Porto, then you will soon understand the argumentation behind it. This version as in Porto has the yummiest crispy crispy on the outer pastry and an almost melt in the middle filling. The appetizers and main dishes are just as tasty fresh products, and the large Portuguese wine offering. The place is lively and huge credit to Marc, the manager who runs the front of the house in a remarkable, charming way. We will be back!. Thank you for a lush evening.

A very good find with excellent Portuguese tapas and fine wines! The two co-founders on the premises make a difference. Very friendly service. Wide choice. Only small comment was the particular red wine my gusets wanted only had a magnum bottle and the restaurant did...not ask, nor suggest an alternative! Also has a nice garden at the back. The food, service, atmosphere was excellent. We didn’t try the highly recommended octopus but everything we had was amazing. The spare ribs and the pork in beer sauce were sublime aswell as, of course, the obligatory pastel de nata for dessert.

it is difficult to enter with a buggy or wheelchair because they have some steps in front of the door. Nevertheless I liked to eat very much and the friendly service. and they can also buy some items from portugal. I'm back.

Very nice place and friendly, helpful staff. Good wines at very fair prices. Pretty garden, unfortunately only open until 8 p.m. because it's in a residential area. Oh yes, the food was excellent!
