Our family had a fantastic dining experience at a classic old-school New York steakhouse. Both the food and service were outstanding. We kicked things off with the shrimp and crab cocktails, raw oysters, and Caesar salad as appetizers. The restaurant graciously allowed us to share our steak and fish entrees, enabling us to craft our own surf and turf plates. The kitchen even split the entrees for us, providing perfectly sized portions so we could enjoy both the steak and fish options. The servings were generous! Overall, it was a truly rewarding experience that I would highly recommend.
I had an amazing lunch today! It was my first time back since COVID, and everything was flawless. The champagne split was served icy cold, which was refreshing. The special mixed vegetable salad with asparagus, broccoli, and spinach was delightful. The Chilean seabass was cooked to perfection, and the prime sirloin steak was both delicious and expertly prepared. Our side of steamed broccoli was excellent and came out on a heated plate! The service was very attentive throughout the meal. To top it all off, the pecan pie was absolutely perfect. Sparks has truly upheld its promise!
We went to Sparks a few months back…we had an absolute terrific evening. Our waiter and the entire waitstaff were outstanding, extremely professional and you could tell that they enjoyed working together…the restaurant oozes history and tradition. The food was excellent, I was very happy I took our waiters advice on the Sirloin which, you are best to do when in an establishment like Sparks. I’d give Sparks a 10 if I could. We will definitely be going here the time we are in the city.
Just had an absolutely delicious meal. My steak was cooked absolutely perfect. I asked for rare medium, i.e. a little more rare than medium rate. My waiter, Miguel, said, you mean rare plus . I never heard that category. But that was it! Perfect. The service was also great. Good pace, but not rushed. Shout- out to Miguel!

Amazing steaks. Appetizer was tomato and mozzarella. I had the steak fromage with Roquefort cheese. Husband had the lamb chops Drinks were strong but very good. Finished off the night with a Jamaican coffee. Staff was amazing and the atmosphere was great.
I did not eat at this restaurant; I was there solely for a historical photo opportunity. Therefore, I am unable to provide a review of the dining experience.

This a a classic nostalgic restaurant that has amazing food and even better service! As Arnold always says-I’ll be back !

The best steak I've ever had! Service could've been better but the food made up for it.
