semi-regular visitor to spats, great place to take a date or a laid back catch up with friends. food is consistently good. not awesome but above average. their tea selection is great. the menu has not been changed in several years and there are no specials.  i'm pretty sure ive ordered everything on there at least once. prices are slightly expensive for some menu items for the quantity of food received, i'm looking at you salt n pepper squid. one great thing i've found about spats is that they can make you something that not on the menu if its easy for the kitchen to prepare. sort of a like a mix n mash and make your own. just need to be descriptive in telling them what you want. sta...

I keep coming here even though I tell myself to try something different. To be honest as of late I have become more disappointed with numerous things with Spats; firstly being the service, its very slow which means you have to wait even longer for your food to come out and by that time I'm very hungry and ordering more than I can eat. Secondly the menu has been the same for such a long time to the point they are using permanent markers to cross of what's unavailable. I think Spats need to lift their game with the current market around and ensure staff are on the ball and come up with a new menu. Price wise I would say its more on the rich side for what you get and I would be very interest in...

I love this little romantic place!!!!! Every thing are perfect! Coffee, steak, dessert are delicious! All the staff are friendly and provide good service. I will come back again! Good time here ! You just can't find another little romantic place at the reasonable price with good coffee , steak and dessert like Spats!!!

Came back here recently and the dessert menu wasn't impressive at all. Not many flavours to choose from, my first thought was (from looking at the menu) that, this dish is basically that dish renamed. Atmosphere wise.. It was very quiet. Awkwardly quiet.

The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Can't say I want to return here though. The staff were not the most welcoming. The quiet music playing was nice until it stopped. The lava cake was the best part! Very yummy! However quite a pricey menu.
