I can not rate the food because one hour and 45 minutes after coming in, I still did not have it. I left. We had a large group with a reservation. We were told to study the menu upon arrival. An hour after arriving, the owner finally took our orders. 30 minutes later, we got tea. At 1:45 minutes after arrival and a simple order of a cup of soup, it still has not appeared. I needed to leave. Others finally got their food 2.5 hours after arrival. They were supposedly short staffed. I would have appreciated this as a warning so we could have made a decision earlier and gone elsewhere if we had only a an hour or two for the experience. This place it's cute, casual, like you are walking into Grandma's house through the back door (the kitchen) Service it's great, very friendly staff, they serve your first cup of tea, loved that. The food was to die for, everything was amazing. We got to try some new things and the scones were the best I ever had, so much so that I didn't even miss the clotted cream (they make their own, it's different but still good)Lovely atmosphere with a bunch of friendly people.The only thing is that it took an hour and a half for us to get our food. We had somewhere else to be so we kind of rushed through tea.Overall, great place with awesome staff and delicious food.
This place is a gem!! Serving teas and light tea food. It feels like going home!! Went yesterday with 2 of my girlfriends!! Had a mushroom melt on a homemade English muffin and the soup of the day, which was a wild rice and celery bisk!! With a glass of green and raspberry iced tea!! It was so good!! You can tell the food is made with love and from scrach!! Something like your grandma or mom might have made you when you did not feel your best. Just plain comforting!! I can not wait to go back again!! It's like a great big hug big for your soul!! <3 Vegetarian options: Mushroom melt or the artichoke melt!!
I don’t normally post reviews but I can’t help myself with this one. Everything was Absolutely amazing! The tea, Green and Pomegranate, and food was to die for! I may dream about the rice and celery soup and artichoke melt. And the desserts? So good, we got a sampler plate, a little bit of everything. I am so grateful we found this beautiful place, we will definitely be back!

I had a wonderful afternoon with all my aunts at Special Teas! The food was absolutely delicious. We spent four hours in our own cozy private room, enjoying flavorful tea and each other’s company. The owner was fantastic, assisting us with the menu and even sharing some of her baking secrets! It was a memorable experience with my Aunt-teas that I will cherish forever!
Wow what a wonderful place! I’ve been to many fancy tea places and the food and tea here was by far the best! The service was great as well, very kind! I loved the chai! We’ll definitely be back!
Lovely setting for a delicious high tea. Very attentive staff. Going for a 2nd special Sunday event again. Parking: Close and convenient for all levels of mobility.
Wonderful food at good prices... don't be rushing though: relax.. Only serves teas so no soda or coffee. AND the deserts...yum. Vegetarian options: Several
