A couple of early recommendations... Make a reservation if you want to be inside! If you opt for the outdoor seating there is no direct overhead protection so know fate may test you a bird decided to do a flyby and luckily it missed me and landed on the table... First visit was pleasant the location is pretty easy to find as long as you're fairly familiar with downtown and all its one ways. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was surprisingly 90 degrees in October so we sat outside. Warning its in the heart of High Street so being on the street can be noisy at times, but its also great people watching. For starter we got the foccacia. HIGHLY recommend loaf was fresh, soft and d...

Speck is an amazing addition to downtown, and it's open for lunch! They serve an amazing cappuccino if a lunch cocktail isn't in the cards. Our server was prompt and knowledgeable, with wonderful recommendations. The speck and burrata starter is a must. It's one of the best burratas in town, in my opinion. All of the noodles are made upstairs, so you can't go wrong with ordering a pasta dish. We had the Cacio a Pepe, which were delicious pillows of goodness with a light and seasoned cheese sauce. The other dish we chose was the Sausage Ragu. I'm typically not a sausage fan, I think most sausages are over seasoned and eat greasy. This was neither! It was delicious. My next trip back will be for...
Checked Tock before leaving the house on a Monday evening and every time slot from 7pm on was available, so we didn’t book because of the booking fee and open availability, only to walk in and be told there’s nothing available despite empty tables. The host was very nice and after a little pushback he gave us a spot in the dining room. The appetizer plates are ridiculously small (like a saucer), be prepared to feel like a slob no matter how hard you try to keep lettuce on the plate. The wine list is kinda weak considering Accent is next door, but the cocktails are excellent. Pastas are okay but nothing special. Skip dessert—not sure what’s happening there, but yikes! Then there’s the healthc...
**Dining Experience**: Dinner **Price per Person**: $50–$100 **Food Rating**: 5/5 **Service Rating**: 5/5 **Atmosphere Rating**: 5/5 I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful dinner experience. The food was exceptional, earning a solid five stars. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff that made the evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was perfect, creating a warm and inviting setting for a night out. Be sure to try the Blistered Shishitos, which are a fantastic starter, and the Tiramisu for dessert, which is among the best I've had. The Speck Burrata is another must-try dish that you won’t want to miss. Overall, this restaurant is... Reserva una mesa ahora
Speck was a solid B. Service was good/fast. Food was well prepared but not “amazing” for the level we expected. Focaccia bread and Fungi pasta stole the show. Gem salad didn’t have any dressing or was very bare. Pomodoro pasta was very tasty but all entrees came out slightly cool. Deserts were average, but their creamy pistachio cello was delicious. Cocktails were forgettable. Ordering wine was also a challenge due to them being out of a few bottles we picked. All in all, they have a high bar set for fine dining Italian but need better work on the execution. Would give it another shot but not rushing back.
Let’s start with the fact that I was trying to avoid Italian place in Columbus for the last 3 years.I was convinced to go and this place brought me back to home. We tried several things and I loved everything. Food was delicious and quality is very high. I think prices are fair.I would recommend the Pasta Pomodoro and the Lobster pasta too. Very very good.I will definitely go back… a very authentic Italian restaurant.
Good, not great. The conclusion my Fiancé and I came to.I got Crab Pasta, and she ordered Cacio e Pepe. The pasta was creative and intriguing but didn 't wow us. And for the price and atmosphere, we expected that. The drinks were creative as well, but again, neither of us were particularly impressed. The homemade bread was the best part...so tasty!
The Sausage Ragu was served lukewarm, and the bar seemed to be consistently lagging behind. While this could generally be overlooked, given their strict reservation policy—which includes a $20 per person deposit and a 48-hour cancellation notice—it feels reasonable to expect higher standards. Overall, the service during our dinner was lacking. Reserva una mesa ahora
The good and lunch service was great. I had the sausage rage and gem salad I recommend both highly. I took two sandwiches home for dinner to share with my family and especially loved the cold cut with giardiniera but the prosciutto was also great. I want to go back to try their dinner menu.
