I am not a fan of teriyaki... That said, I really enjoyed this food! My partner has been wanting to get some teriyaki recently so I took him here. Great choice. The food was hot and spicy. His order of the chicken was pretty good and the teriyaki was not overdone for my taste. I had the spicy pork dish, mostly because they didn't have the Pork Katsu. I am very glad they were out of Katsu! The spicy pork was delicious and the sauce that came on it was very tasty and nice and spicy. The server was friendly and nice and she got bonus points for keeping my water full. We definitely will eat here again and I appreciate the response from the owner.
I absolutely love Speed Bowls! I used to go there frequently before the pandemic, and I'm thrilled to see they've bounced back after COVID and the road closures. The restaurant has been nicely remodeled and now features a mini-split air conditioning system. My favorite dish, the chicken teriyaki, is now served on a sizzling metal hot plate, similar to fajitas, which really enhances the flavors and texture. Once they update the menus, the transformation will be complete! Thank you for providing Grays Harbor with such delicious food. I’m more than happy to drive 40 minutes just to eat there!
My sister and I had dinner at this restaurant and ordered the chicken teriyaki and yakisoba, both of which were delicious. We also sampled their fresh spring rolls; I would have preferred a bit more fresh basil, but they were still tasty. The server was very friendly, and the dining area was spotless. Just a note: we arrived about an hour before closing and found that they were out of beef. Next time, we'll make sure to go earlier, as I’m eager to try the Bulgogi beef.
It seemed like they were out of many items on the menu that I tried to order. When the food arrived, the smell was quite off-putting, but I decided to give it a try anyway. The plate of garnishes for my pho appeared reused; the lime was already squeezed. At that point, I felt so dissatisfied that I just wanted to leave.
The waitstaff did ask if I wanted a to-go container, but I declined, settled my bill, and left. I doubt I will return.

This place is great. They battled to survive with the rest of the food service industry during the covid pandemic. They used the opportunity during closure to paint, clean and update. The inside and outside are incredibly well kept, the food is great with a fairly large selection and the service is friendly and fast. I have been a fan for awhile but the last trip (earlier this week) was the best.
I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger meal, and it was excellent. My coworker opted for the pork teriyaki, but she found it quite bland and dry, and it didn’t come with any sauce. Overall, the prices were reasonable, and the staff was very friendly and prompt.
I ordered the chicken teriyaki, but it resembled beef and was quite fatty. The fried rice was also disappointing. Overall, I was very let down by the quality and taste of the food!
Consistently delicious with a great atmosphere! The Spicy Chicken dish is exceptional. The Pho is fantastic, and the Yakisoba is outstanding.
