This was our first takeaway experience since moving to Exeter in August. Having checked the socials, Spice Magic seemed to be the most highly recommended Indian in the area. We rang to confirm dietary requirements and the person on the phone was amazing, saying that whatever we ordered off the vegetarian menu could be veganised. After the order was placed, we had a call straight away querying one item ordered as it wasn't vegan, naan bread. We were advised that an alternative was available so went with it. I had a great meal at this restaurant last week, but I was extremely disappointed when my recent order arrived with several items missing and the food that did arrive was cold and some even burnt (see picture). When I called the restaurant to address the issue, they were unresponsive and didn't seem to care at all. It's a shame to gain a new customer one week only to lose them the next. When I reached out to the takeout service, they also did not seem to care and blamed the problem on Just Eat, even though the complaint was about the food itself.

Spice Magic in Exeter never fail to provide a delicious selection of vegan dishes. And today I found they can make pretty much any of the dishes vegan, apart from the kormas, masalas etc, which have dairy. The owner is always very friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering. And you can order via the website direct, and get a discount if collecting. You can add notes for special dietary requirements. Highly recommend! Sorry, no photos this time, we were hungry!

Purchased a takeaway from here. Cheap nasty processed meat. Read reviews before which said was good. One guy said best curry in Exeter!!.All I can say is God help Exeter! Reserva una mesa ahora

Don’t order from spice magic unless you want to wait 4 hours for delivery. Order at 5.10pm and after 3 phone calls was told wouldn’t be delivered until 9pm

This is our first meal in Exeter. The restaurant is small and only offers takeout, so the prices are reasonable. I enjoyed the masala and samosas.

Inexpensive is the best way to describe this. You get what you pay for and no more than that. Perfectly adequate but I will not repeat the visit Reserva una mesa ahora

Spice Magic is always our first choice! We have tried many curry restaurants over the years, but Spice Magic never fails to impress us!

Tonight we had a chicken pasanda it was the most amazing meal we have ever had it was delicious would definitely recomend
