Takeaway for 6. Told ready for pick up in 20 minutes, arrived in 18 and was handed bags from an insulated cold box. Food was beyond disappointing, cold and stale. I can only think that as the order was late in the evening we were given all of the unused menu from that day, the restaurant was empty unsurprisingly. Really sad as we used to dine in before Covid and it was a delight. Will not be ordering or visiting again
We have used Spice Rack for the past two weekends and are so happy. Hot, tasty and fresh tasting food. I really want to know if there are any connections to a very well known curry house in a nearby large town?! Some of the dishes have the same unique names and taste just as good (and even better). It 's that 'special sauce ', I am referring to! Keep up the good work amazing food and service.
I first reviewed this restaurant five years ago. Since then we have become regulars. Last weekend was my birthday so we placed a large order to be delivered to my home. The order was complex and for six people. It arrived piping hot and everyone agreed that it was the best and most tasty take away we have ever had. The food is full of flavour and the portions a generous size.
Went early October on a Tuesday, not been before. It was very quiet, no doubt because of the pandemic, but the food was superb, really reasonably priced if you go for the 4 dishes for £14 option and service really good and friendly.
