Spice Village - Reservar una mesa

As we get back to something approaching normal, this place deserves a visit or a take-away order. We have done take-away and eat-in in last 10 days. Both worked really well; when I rang for take-away, there was no answer and then they called back, working hard to get our business. Yesterday, we went to dine in. They did it all write and made a noticeable effort; they gave us an extra starter and offered more mains. 60 CHF each for starter with popadoms, mains and 2 drinks each. This neighbourhood place deserves your support. Plenty of parking too.

I ordered a takeaway for delivery and was told it would be delivered in 50-55 minutes. 1 hour and 50 minutes later it arrived! I called 10/20 times and there was never an answer! I understand restaurants can be busy but manage your customers expectations or advise collection. The food was fine but due to the frustration and still no apology from the restaurant, I won’t be ordering again.

Pakistani and Indian dishes, not only the „standard“ dishes you usually find in an Indian restaurant. Tasty and good portions. Main dishes in the chf 30 40 range, with rice. I could get tap water for free (sadly, not always the case in Switzerland) and beer was a reasonable cost. Free parking. I highly recommend the lamb with potato curry delicious and tender!

Thoughtful and well curated menu. Food well executed. Best Indian food this British expat has eaten in Switzerland and clearly the owner/chef takes pride. Quality ingredients. The chef learned his profession in London and Pakistan. We are already planning a return visit.

We ordered our food many hours before planned delivery. We received the food 1 hour after promised delivery. The food was OK although nan-bread was a bit greasy. We will not order from here again but less so for the food and more so for the sake of delivery reliability.
