I’ll preface this review by saying that I’ve eaten here a number of times and I really love it. It’s a lovely setting by the water, the staff are super friendly and helpful and the food I’ve eaten has been great. However, there are a few items on the menu that are incorrectly labelled as ‘vegan’ that are definitely not, most notably a lamb dish and another dish that contains some sort of cheese. Its made me wonder whether other dishes labelled ‘vegan’ are actually vegan or not. Its not a problem for me as I usually order the same dishes that I know are definitely vegan, but for people who are unsure or who don’t read the full menu description, they might be caught out. we had a little Christmas party here recently and that was great! there were a few vegan options with a few options for entree, porn etc. the auberginenmasala was very tasty as the zwiebelbhajis. they had no vegan brote that was a lobster, but that's too bad. the staff was friendly and attentive and later even accommodated us in the night to remove from the rain.
While in the city, we decided to explore the nearby dining options and ended up at Happy ****. We opted to try Spiced and were blown away by their delicious Auberginenmasala and Sweet Emerald dishes. We highly recommend visiting when in Barangaroo. The food was beautifully presented and the atmosphere was lovely.
there are 4 vegan main course options that are all delicious. we had three courts among us with three orders of rice and nothing else. it costs $65. it's good. I recommend the aubergine.

A number of vegan choices. Staff appeared to be knowledgeable and able to explain what was/wasn’t vegan. The flavours were very good. There are a number of curries to choose from.
It's going to be my new favorite Indian restaurant, for sure.

Spiced by Billu's is in the trendy dining precinct at Barangaroo, just by the ferry terminal, so it has a lovely view of the water.
Love the ambience and spice aromas here. Very few (but tasty) vegan options but many vegetarian dishes.
