The food was very tasty my first time visit. The venue appeared clean. We ordered online then during pickup we had to wait in line where others place orders. The cashier gives you a receipt of your online order then you go to the next area to wait for someone to give you your order. The process could be improved. The staff was courteous. It was weird that plantains didn’t come with your meal and you couldn’t request more vegetables than rice. It’s considered a substitute.
I’ve eaten Spices for years but moved away and haven’t had it in a while. I dropped in while in town for Labor Day weekend and love the changes they’ve made. There’s a updgraded phone system, menu, order taker, and checkout counter. They removed the seats from the takeout section and just all in all a more relaxed and open space. The customer service was great and I didn’t have to wait long for my food. 5 stars! No one makes Caribbean food better than Spices. No one!
I've always like eating at this wonderful location. They have recently updated their restaurant and even change their name. They are always kind, friendly, and they are decent on the portions of food. The food is fresh, hot, more flavorful than before, and they move quickly in the kitchen. Once you place your order, you are in and out of there within 5 minutes. I will be back to try some vegetarian options as well. My $17.48 was well spent.
Food was amazing! customer service was likewise! If your ever in this area this is the place to be. If you have good taste in food your taste buds will be glad you did, I'm an OTR semi truck driver and it's a little challenging to drive a big truck there because of the round about, but the food is worth the hassle. The restaurant is clean and well kept. I approve this restaurant
