Booked table and arrived and greeted well shown to seats. After viewing menu we ordered, I had the Spicy prawn starter and chicken main. Service was good and food arrived promptly, however I do feel two prawns is a little measly for £5. I ordered my main course and I was informed that this dish comes with rice. Whrn the dish arrived food tasted great, however the amount of rice was literally about 2 spoons full? It can in a pot you normally get mint dip in that is the amount of rice. I said to the waiter who was serving my wifes main, i would like some more rixe please... i was more than willing to pay for extra portion, however nothing arrived and finished my main without rice. This was a mother daughter early dinner date we chose Spices because it’s always a special night . All the staff treat you as if you are VIP! It’s a constant too never a hit and miss at this restaurant. It’s always professional , everyone is extremely polite and the food obviously is super delicious. There is lots of choices on the menu but I had Salmon Tikka my favourite and it’s a work of art on the plate. Very fresh and presented perfectly. My daughter had Chicken Tikka and the best Cheese Nan she’s ever had. Great music, fantastic lighting and just a lovely atmosphere as usual. Cocktails are to die for too! Don’t hesitate book this !

Sad to say this restaurant has gone down hill. Food was good but service was extremely poor. Considering how quiet it was for a Saturday evening, it took too long for a member of staff to take our food order. Extra drinks were ordered before recieving our food, only for the same waiter to return to ask what drinks we'd ordered again! We were told that cocktails weren't being served that evening yet, a table not far from ours had cocktails being served to them all evening long. When questioning the staff they had no answer, only lie upon lie. A very poor experience overall, we won't be returning.

I visited Spices last night and received a wonderful welcome before being promptly seated at our table. The staff were outstanding, and their service was matched only by the delicious food. I can't say enough about the excellent dishes, friendly staff, and charming atmosphere at Spices. If you haven't been yet, you don't know what you're missing - give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Best Indian food ever been going here for years an just gets better, the service is amazing, ali will always make sure you are ok with your food ect, music lovely also a little cheeky disco if u ask, I love this place in fact my daughter lives in Australia an still keeps in touch with ali and when she comes to the uk alis place 'spices ' is her first place of call Thank you as always Ali

Visited Spices tonight with my brother and his wife, we all had a fantastic meal, the manager and the staff made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble and they made us all feel extra special. Thanks once again Spices for making the evening out special. Look forward to seeing you all very soon Regards Mick, Paul and Denise

Oh Spices, what happened to you? You used to be a top-notch spot for a night out. The food is decent, but the restaurant now looks dirty and below its usual standard. The toilets are also in a disgusting state. It's really disappointing.

Been here a few times now, We live a good 15-20 mins drive away which says a lot.. Great food, licensed bar, friendly staff and parking at rear. What more could you want.
